It started with a lost cap.
In April 2025, one of us lost a favourite cycling cap. Not just any cap…the one with that perfect reference, the one that felt like exactly the right thing to wear next to the bike. We searched everywhere for a replacement. Nothing came close. So we designed them ourselves.
We work with a local embroiderer, we obsess over fabrics, and we only put something out into the world when we'd genuinely want to wear it ourselves.
Our Team
Ingmar Lodewijk
FounderIngmar is a Puncheur. Explosive when it counts, and always ready to push others a little bit harder. He's a professional at saying no to everything except a ride, a coffee, or both.
When he's not riding, he's soigneur to his own bike and everyone else's. Components get upgraded whether they need it or not. He rides a Colnago and is proud of every centimetre of it. Italian design, American muscles, Swiss wheels. A man of culture.
He's also, quietly, the reason Petit Peloton exists. He lost a cap and Martine couldn't find a replacement. So she designed one herself, and then decided the world needed more of them.
He's still not sure he's creative. He's wrong.
FounderMartine Janzen
If there's a role to fill, Martine fills it. On the road, she's the soigneur, making sure everyone has what they need before they even know they need it. Coffee ready, bottles filled with electrolytes (Mango Pineapple, always), and a pocket full of fruit bars for whenever the legs start to complain.
She rides a Fons, a Dutch brand that made it possible to put a unicorn on the road. She spots a new route and says yes before checking the elevation. A few extra metres of climbing? Not a reason to stay home.
At Studio Petit Peloton, she wears the same amount of hats. Design, marketing, community, she holds it all together with taste and quiet determination.
Admin, however, can find someone else.
